[Harder, Better]Daft Punk, Hands, and Bodies[Faster, Stronger]

I had a basketball game this morning. The only thing that kept me going was this song. Why did I want to listen to it this morning? I don't know. If you've heard this song but not the video, watch it. If you've watched the hand video but not the body one, watch it.

+/- Lyrics, in case you couldn't figure it out

Work It
Make It
Do It
Makes Us
Harder

Faster

Work is

Work It Harder Make It Better
Do It Faster Makes Us Stronger

Movie: Up

Another movie we watched the same day we saw Drag Me To Hell. Let me just say, man am I glad we watched this movie second because I felt really different from the way I did after watching DMTH. I am pretty sure we were the only teenagers in the theater, the rest were parents and their children either too old or too young to appreciate the art of Pixar. Then again, what the hell do I know? Probably no one in that movie theater fully gave Up the attention it deserved (mainly because the little creatures kids won't stop giggling and yelling during the film), but fear not, I plan to abuse it like KFC's chickens when out on DVD. Wait, Blu-ray is in right now? Fuck my HD-DVD Playing piece of shit. Just kidding, never got oneeeee!

Oh of course the movie was good, we all knew it was gonna be good the moment we saw one of the most teasing trailers I've ever seen.

God, it must have been a bitch rendering all those shiny, slightly reflective balloons...

Movie: Drag Me To Hell

I went to go watch Drag Me To Hell with Donna yesterday, and I must say it was exactly what I expected and exactly what I unexpected at the same time.

I'm pretty sure some of the scenes were meant to be comical, because I laughed a good number of times. I also screamed on a handful of occasions so I would place it somewhere between horror and comedy. Whatever that is.

It was like...

Ahhh

AAAHHHHHH

DAAAAAAAMN

DUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNGGGGGG

WHAT THE FUCKAJLJDIOQEHIONAKJLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO
LOLWWWTFFFFLOLLLLLLLWHATTHEFUCKJUSTHAP
PENEDLOLOLOLOLMFAOROFL

Yup, the best part was when the goat calls her a bitch. LOL. You should have seen the look on its face. LOLL

A Day in AP Calculus BC

We're reading a book called Chaos right now in Calculus. We were having this seminar and Donna starting passing around this piece of paper, in turn resulting in the most productive day in Calculus this year.

What's that you ask?
Why yes, I did draw that fine-looking piece of hotdog :)

WIP: North High 05

Just a few more renders that were piling up. Putting together a motherfucking anal project to leave behind for future 3D modelers at North because I will not finish modeling the entire school. My brother thinks no one will be up for it, but Donna is more hopeful. More hopeful as in she thinks maybe one day, one person will slightly take interest, take a look, and go, "Nah." Thanks guys love you too :)

It's always surprised me

It's always surprised me how they come up with the game before the movie. Wall-E did that too, weird. Also, my friend claims this movie Up by Pixar Animation and Disney to be her favorite movie, and it hasn't even come out yet. Well actually she might not be too far off it looks fucking amazing.

Also, for anybody interested, there's a Wii, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, PSP, and PC version of it out too.

Again, also for anybody who cares, I'm not quite sure as to how it's celebrated, but happy Geek Pride Day and happy Memorial Day! :)

Movie: Bee Movie

Kind of really late, but I watched Bee Movie today. I am taking full advantage of my Memorial Day weekend. It's weird, I never heard anything about this movie. Nothing good, nothing bad, nothing! Weird!

To be honest, the movie was kind of odd. The little jokes in there was more of a if you get it it's funny if you don't it's not, which isn't a bad thing or anything but. Sometimes I lost track of the storyline, like when they're flying the plane and it's moving like an insect. It was so weird. So weird in fact that that scene my favorite part of the entire movie. God I am using that word too much. I really like that in the beginning of the movie everything is moving so fast, because they're bees and they don't live long (i.e. they go to elementary school 3 days, middle school 3 days, college 3 days, graduating class of 9:15), but they didn't really stick to it throughout the movie. It was funny though, made me laugh a gooood number of times.

The 3D in it was amazing. If I had better vocabulary, I'd use a different word, but I don't know how anyone can keep from dropping their jaws the entire movie. Damn, Dreamworks. Good job. The buildings looked awesome, the bee hive was mind-blowing, the animation was excellent, I don't know what to say, holy fuck that looks cool.

The voice acting. Well, how can you say no to Jerry Seinfeld and Renee Zellweger? Renee Zellweger has such a nice voice.

If you haven't watched Bee Movie yet and haven't heard anything about it, take it from me, watch it! It's not a waste of time in the least :)

By the way, the old bee talking in the beginning of the trailer gets swapped with a girl bee on the movie. Lol.

Movie: Marley & Me

I can't remember the last time I watched a dog movie. I usually don't like watching them much, partly because it always ends with the dog dying or the storyline is too good to be true. In other words, the dog not dying in the movie is a story too good to be true. Just kidding, Air Bud wasn't even that bad.

I watched this movie today and it just gave me that feeling you get after you watch a movie. It was about this couple that get a dog and then have kids, switch jobs, quit jobs, move, fight, cry, make up, make out, and all that jazz. I think what I liked about it was that the entire story wasn't just about the dog like it was meant solely for dog-lovers to watch or something.

It made me never want to have a dog. Ever. Or kids for that matter.

But, at the same time I can see why people would want kids and a dog after that movie. I'm not gonna rate it or anything but it's worth a watch.

Couple more render cards, haven't really been working on this project at all. On a totally separate note, I got really good at Minesweeper.
Separate note I said.

Bass Guitar

I haven't uploaded much on Autodesk in a while, but this is what I've been working on for about a couple weeks. It was my first time working with curves on Autodesk, so it took some time. For those of you that don't know your instruments, it's a bass guitar. Just because it has 4 fat strings doesn't mean it's a guitar for beginners or something. I wanted to add the "Fender" logo on the headstock, but sadly I was too noob to figure out the UV mapping. :(

For everybody that noticed, yeah I forgot to add the things for the strap. Woops.

+/- More Renders

Either I just love how mental ray and vector renders look, or I really like how this one turned out. Actually, it could be both.

Chupacabra Prank

Negi Cat

Negi Cat for everyone unfamiliar with japanese food, is raw cat on rice covered in soy sauce and green onion. Just kidding. It's what my family calls that clever piece of something my brother found at the mall and purchased for mother's day. Which, by the way, is tomorrow. Shit.

Anyway, the Negi Cat looks so cool and really comical (if you stare into its face long enough), that we put it in random places around the house so the next person can spot it, be surprised, have a good laugh, and go place it somewhere new. It gets a little creepy after a while because I swear that thing is watching me, but hey it gets a good few laughs in the beginning so.

The Office, Anyone?

This fell out of my Calculus book as I was returning it to the library today.
The Office is an excellent TV show that you should definitely go watch if you haven't already. Also, I've only watch the American one.

And how lucky am I to have friends who get this post-it piece of lined paper. The DERWienerschnitzyl comment is nothing ignore that crap.

Remember Ice Cream Trucks?

Remember them?

I was in my room today and I heard this familiar melody from about 2 blocks away (I don't know how I head it everyone tells me I'm deaf), and my siblings and I ran out bare-feet and bought ourselves ice cream. Actually my sister bought me mine. It's been about 6 or 7 years since the last time I bought ice cream from these trucks. Good times. My brother tells me they're illegal where we live. How can you ban those gumball eyes? Mmm

Also, good job to everyone that finished their Calculus AP test! Woo!
Our teacher's giving us an end-of-the-year project! God I hope she trips and falls!

Ceramics is fun fun fun

Beginning Ceramics is a seniors-only course offered at my high school. It's cool and the teacher is even cooler. We had to make two bowls anyway and it was due sometime first semester; mine came out of the kiln just this week.

I also had a fish, but I think it swam away to my Environmental Science teacher.

+/- Side shots of first bowl

You probably can't see all the icons but there's eight of my favorite programs.
Adobe Photoshop, Adobe (Macromedia) Flash, Windows Media Player, uTorrent, Mozilla Firefox, VLC Player, foobar, and Blender Foundation.
I was gonna put the Autodesk Maya icon, but I was more familiar with Blender when I started making the bowl so.
